Pre-Life Crisis

Despite our hard work and our best efforts, Gov. Dean conceded New Hampshire. But if you look at the faces of those of us in the crowd, you wouldn't know this was from that night. We were all so proud of Gov. Dean and just knew that our strong second-place showing would be the springboard he needed to win the nomination.


(so the rest of the country besides Vermont wasn't so smart. we didn't know that then.)
